We would like to thank all for their participation yesterday at the Iceland National Team & Talent Team election. We would like to inform you that there will no longer be a U&E Team, but a Talent Team for all age categories.
It was a big pleasure to see so many participants! We had to choose between more than 80 people & we’ve seen a lot of good potential. We have elected our teams based on the following criteria; kicks, flexibility, power & speed, technical level & categories. The result of the election is 27 athletes on the National Team & 28 on the Talent Team.
The participants who did not qualify for the National Team & the Talent Team this time, should especially work on their kicks and flexibility as well as the technical level in general. We encourage you to sign up for the election next year and hope to see as many as possible! Thank you very much for your interest, support & cooperation! Congratulations to the new teams!
